Natalie Mann and I had been following each other’s work for years before we joined creative forces. I quietly admired her interior designs, events, and jaw-dropping productions on Instagram. Throughout the years, I wondered how she pulled off that level of artistry in Israel, as it can be more challenging to import flowers, find the materials, and professionals to create the kind of events she did.
When we spoke on the phone for the first time, she told me her story.
Without sharing too many personal details, Natalie built her business from the ground up. Since her kids were little, she’s been a single mother. She told me, “I want women to know that they can do this on their own. They don’t need to have a partner to fulfill their dreams.”
This is how our project, Love Letters for Entrepreneurs, was born.
As an experienced creative director, Natalie worked her magic. She arranged for the session to be at the Alma Hotel, brought in beautiful florals, and connected us with lingerie and clothing designers to bring our shared vision to life…
I am grateful to have connected with Malkah Esther Botnick, an incredible makeup artist and hair stylist, who has brought beautiful energy to my boudoir sessions…
For several months prior, I had been working with the talented artist Malka Klein on my re-branding, and I had been dying to incorporate her beautiful calligraphy into my boudoir sessions. I asked Natalie to write a love letter to herself, and Malka turned it into one of the most gorgeous, artistic letters I have ever seen.
Later, Natalie said that she would have never guessed it, but that writing the love letter to herself was incredibly powerful and one of the most meaningful exercises of self-love…
This one might just be my favorite…
Thank you to everyone who participated in this amazing collaboration. It gave us all life and inspiration during a year that wasn’t easy to navigate.
There is truly nothing more powerful than women empowering women.
